Become SPRINT courier

SPRINTR stands for professionalism. Therefore, we find it important that our SPRINTRs meet certain requirements.

  • You can show that you are a self-employed driver and a legal resident of Belgium.
  • You have a valid driver’s license and are, consequently, at least 18 years old.
  • You have a clean, properly registered, private car. You also have a safety helmet and safety glasses.
  • You have a valid VAT-number.

Failure to comply with these General Terms and Conditions may result in exclusion. If you are employed by a transport company, this company can also sign up to register (some of) their employees as SPRINTRs.

To become a SPRINTR, you must first register via our website. You will then receive an e-mail from us with more information. Subsequently, we will verify that you meet our registration requirements. If you meet the requirements, you will receive confirmation via e-mail and an SMS code. Download the SPRINTR app via the Apple Store or the Google Store and log in with your personal SMS code. From that moment on, are you ready to sprint along with SPRINTR.

There are 2 ways in which you can accept an order:

  • Urgent orders are sent to you via a message on your smartphone. It is important to indicate as soon as possible whether you do or do not accept the order. After all, a customer is waiting for you or your colleague to accept the offer. If you are driving, you will receive a phone call with a computer voice message. After the “beep” you can respond with ‘YES’ if you wish to accept the order, or ‘NO’ if you wish to decline it. We will inform the customer immediately that we have found a driver, so that he or she can complete the booking. You will receive final confirmation within 10 minutes after that, so you can start on your trip.
  • Less urgent trips that are scheduled for the future can be found by you in the SPRINTR app. To do so, click on ‘available’. If there is an order available that you would like to carry out, simply select it. This will make you the SPRINTR who gets to make this trip.

The General Terms and Conditions list all items that you are not allowed to transport. These are obvious items, such as weapons, drugs, goods prohibited by law, chemicals, explosives, hazardous goods and highly valuable articles. SPRINTRS are supposed to drive a professional vehicle that complies with all legal standards. This vehicle may be the property of the transport company that employs the SPRINTR or belong to the self-employed SPRINTR himself/herself.

As a SPRINTR, you are allowed to drive whenever you want. However, you will only receive proposals for trips when you are logged in to the SPRINTR app. You always have a choice whether to accept an order or not. If you don’t want to take trips, we request that you log off. Signing up for a future trip is also possible.
Indicate until what time you can make trips and at what location you would like to end your shift. This way, we can take your preferences into account. For example: I am available at address X within 2 hours and want to be back at address Y by 7.30 p.m. Considering the available order, we will then plan your trips as efficiently as possible.

Our SPRINTRs all work with the SPRINTR app to accept or decline shipments. It is therefore imperative that you have a smartphone.

SPRINTR is building a national network, so every SPRINTR in Belgium can register.

You do not need to submit documents. The registration form requires that you fill in your personal information, your license plate number, your insurance number and the number of your transport license when you indicate that you can carry more than 499 kg.

When we propose a trip, you will immediately see the amount you will paid to make it. On the first and 15th of each month, we will send you an e-mail with an overview of all trips made by you. You may send us an invoice for this amount, stating the reference number of this overview. After receiving a correct invoice, we will deposit the amount into your account within 2 workdays.

What you earn per trip depends on the type of vehicle (bicycle, passenger car, small or large vehicle, etc.) and the distance travelled. The amount that you can earn, is stated each time a trip is proposed. You can count on approximately €0.80 per kilometre, measured from the pick-up address to the delivery address, with a minimum amount of €20 (excluding VAT).

Goods must be loaded and unloaded within 15 minutes. Therefore, there must be enough people present to help loading and unloading within this time. In addition, the customer must provide assistance to load and unload the goods if they weigh more than 25 kg. Use the dispatch function in the app to report any problems that keep you from carrying out an order. You will then receiver further instructions.

If the customer cancels his or her job at least 6 hours in advance, we will pay back the full amount. This means that you will not be paid for this order. If the customer cancels up to 2 hours in advance, you will receive 30% of the amount paid. The customer cancels less than 2 hour in advance, you will receive the full amount.

If the pick-up location is outside Belgium, you will be paid 100% if the customer cancels his or her job within 24 hours before the pick-up time.

They established SPRINTR out of a desire to organise courier services in a more efficient manner, so that fewer unnecessary kilometres need to be driven.

Do you meet these requirements? Then we would be very happy to welcome you! You can also become a SPRINTR if you are employed by a transport company that has joined the SPRINTR network.

You must personally make sure that the vehicle driven by you is insured in accordance with the legal standards. SPRINTR does not intervene in case of damage to your vehicle or to the vehicles of third parties before, during or after an SPRINTR trip.

The shipment you are carrying is insured for a maximum amount of €500. If you notice any damage, please take photos of the damaged goods at the time of delivery via the SPRINTR app. These photos will be added to our customer dossier.

SPRINTR is a platform that brings together and registers professional SPRINTRs. When you submit a request for a shipment, our algorithm chooses the most suitable SPRINTR for your order. Factors that we take into account:

  • Availability
  • Distance to the pick-up location
  • Time to the pick-up location
  • Type of vehicle

In this way, our SPRINTRs drive fewer unnecessary kilometres as a whole. That is better for you, the SPRINTR, the environment and the other road users.

In the SPRINTR app, go to the menu in the upper right corner. Click on ‘profile’ and change the information.

SPRINTR is available wherever you want. We’re happy to sprint your way outside of Belgium, as well. The only condition is that either the loading or unloading of your shipment takes place in Belgium.

It only takes 3 easy steps to book a SPRINTR:

  3. Create your order


In case of orders that must be carried out within 3 hours, we ask you to wait while we find a suitable SPRINTR. This may take a few minutes. As soon as a SPRINTR has accepted your order, you can validate the order by making the payment.

Yes, you can! To cancel your order, please follow these steps:

Log in
– Go to ‘scheduled orders’
– Select the order you wish to cancel
– Click on ‘Cancel’

If you cancel an order at least 6 hours in advance, we will pay back the full amount. If you cancel up to 2 hours in advance, you will be paid back 30% of the amount. If you cancel less than 2 hours in advance, we’re afraid we are unable to reimburse you. De kilometres for which you have paid will, however, count towards future discount schemes.

If the pick-up place for your order is outside Belgium, the following reimbursement rules apply: in case of a cancellation up to 24 hours in advance, we will pay back the full amount; in case of a cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, we are unable to reimburse you.

The couriers engaged for your orders will be compensated correspondingly.

After you submit a request for a shipment and confirm this request, the SPRINTR algorithm will select the most suitable SPRINTR. We take into account the availability, distance to the pick-up location, time to the pick-up location and type of the vehicle. In this way, we drive fewer unnecessary kilometres as a whole. That is better for you, the SPRINTR, the environment and the other road users. Our couriers are professionals who work on a self-employed basis or are employed by a transport company.

We work together with payment system Mollie to process our payments. You can pay with Bancontact, VISA and Mastercard.

Once you have submitted your request for a shipment, the corresponding rate will immediately be displayed. In other words, you can figure out your costs in advance via our website. The rate is calculated based on several parameters:

  • distance
  • type of vehicle
  • time of shipment

Everything shipped by SPRINTR is insured up to a value of 500€.

We find it very important that your personal information is protected. We strive to protect your personal information against misuse. The SPRINTR data are protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This technology ensures that all data, including personal and credit card information, are transferred in a safe and secure manner.

Once we have assigned a SPRINTR to you, you can pay for your order. Your SPRINTR will only receive a confirmation once your payment has been processed correctly. That is why it is important that you pay immediately. You can pay with Bancontact, VISA and Mastercard. If you are registered as a company, you will receive an e-mail with your invoice within 7 days.

The General Terms and Conditions list all items that you are not allowed to ship. We will deliver your shipment on a few conditions:

  • It must be possible to unload your shipment within 15 minutes.
  • Therefore, there must be enough people present to help loading and unloading within this time.
  • Make sure there is sufficient assistance if your shipment weighs more than 25 kg and/or if the size of the goods makes it impossible to have one person carry them.

When you select your SPRINTR, this SPRINTR will receive notification that he or she can leave to pick up your shipment. Your order can always be tracked via “orders” on the website. The scheduled pick-up and delivery time are constantly updated based on the traffic situation.

The delivery is not complete until the recipient confirms that he or she has received the shipment by placing a signature. As the sender, you will receive an e-mail at that time. All details of shipment (time, person who has taken delivery of the shipment, signature) can be found under “orders” on the website.

In very exceptional cases, it may be impossible to find a SPRINTR. If that happens, we will inform you of this and propose an alternative, if possible. In case of shipments that are scheduled to take place in the future, you can right away validate the order and pay for it.

In the rare cases in which we are unable to find a SPRINTR for your shipment, we will contact you and pay back the amount in full.

Currently, we can find a suitable SPRINTR for 87% of the requested shipments.
